Minutes: BOD (Board of Directors) meeting July 30, 2008 (Wednesday).
The meeting was called to order by President Steakley at 1100.
Present: Shipmates Steakley, Brady, Reid, Alavarez, Alvarado, Phillips and
LAFRA Treasurer, Lady Rogers.
Absent: Shipmates Mischenko, Moore and Simms.
Shipmate Moore recovering from knee surgery. Shipmate Simms visiting the U.S.
Recommendations:
1. Take P14,300.00 Pesos from petty cash to pay for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
registration and official receipt books for Quarterdeck Restaurant and Quarterdeck Deli.
Motion by Phillips; Seconded by Alvarez. Unanimously approved.
Discussion:
1. Need BOD member to replace Shipmate Jack Clark (deceased).
2. Will initiate two new members at General Membership Meeting on 1 Aug 2008 -
Jerry Minor and Edward Spears.
3. Will do two-bell ceremony for Shipmate Jack Clark at General Membership Meeting
on 1 Aug 2008.
Meeting was adjourned by President Steakley at 1155.
